*69 Poker League

The *69 Poker League is an Austin, TX area poker league in its *EIGHTH* season. It's kinda like a bowling league... only a lot less shitty... and with cheaper beer.

Stats Updated... Robert slipping?!?

I'm not sure when the last time it's happened, but Claire swept all three games of Week 4. How very lucky impressive! Her 200+ points per week average for the last two weeks have now made her enough points to surpass Robert for 1st place. I find it quite interesting that two vastly different styles have managed to separate themselves from the rest of the pack. While Robert errs on the side of caution, Claire throws caution to the wind. I still believe that a more balanced approach will win out in the end. ;)

In other news, with a decent cashout on Saturday, Aaron has moved into position to enter the Elite 8. He's currently sitting in 9th place, 13 points short of Max and Banni. Speaking of Banni, she earned 5 points this week to pull into 7th place by a fraction of a point. Max and Sadlo contintue to be lame, and finally, Jet managed not to cash out over $250 for two games in a row this week.

Lastly, there is a new rule being added this week. It's regarding talking about the hand if you're not in it.

- Players that do not hold live cards cannot speak about the current hand. This includes talking about what you folded, what cards you think other players are holding, suggestions to a player on how to play a hand ('You should call him. He's bluffing!'), or what the possibilities are with the current board ('Wow, someone just made their flush!') There will be no warnings. The penalty will be one big blind to the current pot if you break this rule. Anybody can object, but Rob will make the final decision on whether the rule was broken or not. If Rob is not present, a table consensus will suffice.

Where do you see that I said cautious play will win out? I said 'balanced' play. And neither your nor Robert are balanced. He's too tight-weak, you're too loose-aggressive.
