I gave a bad beat last night. My KQs vs Max's A5o (got caught trying to make a move) vs Clay's AA. Three way all-in. I had them both covered. Man, I love me some 9 T on the flop with a J on the river. :) I don't think I'll ever give as many Bad Beats as I get (and I shouldn't, if I'm going in with the best hand the majority of the time,) but it sure feels good to win a big one when you're going in losing.

We've got 5 people sitting in the 1100's: Judy, Aaron, Claire, Max and Sean. And Hueby and Adri are 8 points apart... battling for 8th place. So there's plenty of reason to show up to each and every game. Now's the time to distance yourself from your competitors. Miss a day and people catch up or surpass you!

That WSOP Final Table was sooo boring that I watched it until 6am when it ended. :) Seriously, other than Gold and Cunningham, those guys were chumps. Gold desereved it, though he did seem to have a lot of luck on his side, and he did win a lot of races. But at least Gold played poker... those other guys just played possum... hoping to make more money through others getting knocked out.

In our home game, I continued to be awesome. Clay continues to baffle me by staying almost within a 100 points of me, and Adri proceeded to drop out of the top 8 by *not* playing. And good job Hueby... you moved into 8th place. You're lucky that Claire decided to call your all-in with QJs. :)

New Stats and WSOP Final Table at my house

Stats are updated. Adri's in the top 8, and Aaron is almost out of the negatives... I truly fear that the world is coming to an end.

Also, we'll be showing the WSOP Main Event final table tonite at the game! Let's hear it for ESPN Pay-Per-View!

OK, the no-signing up and showing up late on Tue/Thu business is getting annoying. It takes like 5 seconds to say "I'm coming" and if you're gonna be late, just call us. We cancelled last Thursday's game because some people didn't sign up, some signed up and and came over 30 minutes late, and some said they were coming and then didn't show. Gay. Really gay. We only have a 4 hr block on Tue/Thu. C'mon people.

The stats for Saturday are updated BTW... jerks.
